County Federal Builds Bikes & Donates to Local Non-Profit Organization

Bike Donations SAN JOSE, CA (July 21, 2017) — Santa Clara County Federal Credit Union’s management team held its first Management Summit at the Los Gatos Lodge in Los Gatos, California on July 18th, 2017. Over 20 members of the Credit Union’s Leadership Team spent part of their day focusing on enhancing teambuilding skills and building children’s bikes. As a result, 10 brand new Huffy bikes were built and donated to Chamberlain’s Children’s Center.

Chamberlain’s Children Center is a non-profit organization focused on improving social skills, mental health and educational services for victims of child abuse and/or neglect. Chamberlain’s is a state licensed and nationally accredited facility providing a loving home-like environment to children, including a non-public school and a health, wellness and nutrition program. At Chamberlain’s, the child is provided with the tools they need to learn how to become thriving individuals.

County Federal demonstrates its dedication to the community they serve by donating time, services and/or funds to non-profit organizations within Santa Clara and San Benito counties throughout the year.
