We’re committed to reducing the financial burden of education.
We’ve awarded more than $15,000 in educational scholarships to deserving, local students through our Scholarship Program. This program strives to reduce the burden of student debt, so you can focus on your education and achieving your future goals.

At Mirastar, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to pursue higher education. The future of our community is built on education.
How to qualify
To qualify, participating students are required to complete an application* which includes:
- A written essay
- A copy of their current high school/college transcript
Scholarships are judged on cumulative GPA (10%), community and high school involvement (20%), and an essay (70%).
Completed applications must be received by April 21, 2025. Scholarship recipients will be notified by June 13, 2025. Scholarship recipients must provide a Letter of Acceptance or Verification of Enrollment by August 29, 2025.
2025 Educational scholarship winners
From February 1 to April 21, we received applications that showcased the incredible talent in our community. One-year scholarships were awarded to the following graduating high school seniors and post-secondary students enrolled full or part-time in an accredited university or community/technical college.
We are a community of people on the rise, and we’re incredibly proud to announce the winners of our 2025 Educational Scholarships. These students impressed us with their dedication and hard work. *To apply for the Mirastar Educational Scholarship, applicants must be high school seniors or post-secondary students aged 17-25, in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, provide a current photo for marketing promotional use, and be a member of Mirastar Federal Credit Union.
