2025 Volunteer Board of Director Elections

For the 2025 election, there are three vacancies on our seven-person Volunteer Board of Directors. In accordance with our bylaws, the Nominating Committee has nominated one candidate for each open position.
Our bylaws state that when there is only one nominee for each position to be filled, the election will not be conducted by ballot, and nominations cannot be accepted from the floor. The following nominees will therefore be elected by acclamation.

Nominees for the Board of Directors

Dave Cameron
Dave Cameron has been a member of the Credit Union since 1988 and has served on the Board since 1996. He currently serves as Board Treasurer and Chair of the ALM Committee and previously served six years on the Supervisory Committee. With over 40 years of experience in financial leadership, including as CFO of Santa Clara Family Health Plan, Dave brings deep expertise in finance, governance, and operational strategy.

Leslie Crowell
Leslie Crowell, a member since 1986, served nine years on the Supervisory Committee (2007–2016). A retired Deputy County Executive for Santa Clara County, Leslie has over 30 years of experience in public policy and leadership development. She founded the Center for Leadership and Transformation and managed multi-billion-dollar budgets, driving innovation and collaboration across County departments.

John T. Tran
John T. Tran has been a member since 2015 and a volunteer since 2020. Appointed to the Board in December 2024, he previously chaired the Supervisory Committee. With over 15 years of public sector experience, John currently manages a $240 million budget as Executive Administrative Services Manager for Santa Clara County’s Probation Department, bringing expertise in governance and fiscal management.
